Jenanne is a product of the RNZYS design competition, where a special committee drew up the restrictions and scantlings for a racer/cruiser class, the K Class, suitable for the waters of the Hauraki Gulf. This was after W.W.II.
Designed by Bill Couldrey she was highly recommended by the judging panel.
Low Bros. built her for Murray Wiseman, of Murray winches and Wisemans sport stores. There are a number of proto type winches on Jenanne that date back to Murray's day.
She has a triple skin kauri hull, with many solid bronze deck fittings and hardware. We have been told that Ken Low made all of Jenanne's fastening of aluminum bronze. She also has a lovely teak cockpit.
She was named after his two daughters Jenny and Anne.We are still in touch with Anne and husband Peri Neary, who helped out on the original fitting out.
She was launched as K2, and is now K92.
The current owners Michele Sigerist & Gary Vincent have owned her since August 2004.
